The Village at Wiley Canyon

The Village at Wiley Canyon is a proposed mixed-use, intergenerational development to be located on Wiley Canyon Road between Lyons Avenue and Calgrove Boulevard, immediately adjacent to Interstate-5. This development aims to transform the long-vacant Smiser Mule Farm into a luxury, community focused commercial and residential development.

The Village will feature more than 10,000 square feet of small, neighborhood commercial suitable for dining, fitness and shopping boutiques and similarly focused retailers.  The main commercial spaces will wrap around a large, open air plaza that can be used for live music, activities for children and seniors, and many other community events.

The Village at Wiley Canyon will also provide up to 100 units for residents in need of Assisted Living and Memory Care services and approximately 130 independent, all inclusive senior living units. Up to 379 multi-family residential units ranging from studio units to three bedroom units will provide additional upscale housing to support the project’s commercial component.

The approximate 30-acre development will contain more than 40% open space & recreation areas.  The main 18-acre portion of the project site will contain the project buildings along with meandering walking paths and recreation areas.  This luxurious and neighborhood-centric community will incorporate Spanish-style architecture and an overall design that will add meaningful value to the greater Newhall area as the gateway to Santa Clarita.

Local developers Scott Sheridan and Tom Clark are spearheading the overall community development working closely with the city and local residents alike.  Senior housing development specialists Link Senior Development are spearheading the development of the commercial plaza and senior campus.  The development team welcomes your input and feedback as we work through the next phase of this development.  Please consider joining our list of Community Supporters.  To learn more, visit our FAQ page or send us a note.
