The Village at Wiley Canyon is a proposed mixed-use, intergenerational development to be located on Wiley Canyon Road between Lyons Avenue and Calgrove Boulevard, immediately adjacent to Interstate-5. This development aims to transform the long-vacant Smiser Mule Farm into a luxury, community focused commercial and residential development.
The Village will feature more than 10,000 square feet of small, neighborhood commercial suitable for fast-casual dining tenants, fitness and shopping boutiques and similarly focused retailers. The main commercial spaces will wrap around a large, open air plaza for community events, live music, and extensive intergenerational programming.
The Village at Wiley Canyon will consist of up to 100 units for residents in need of Assisted Living and Memory Care services and approximately 130 independent, all inclusive senior living units. Up to 379 multi-family residential units ranging from studio to three bedroom will provide additional housing.
The approximate 30-acre development will contain more than 40% open space. The main 18-acre portion of the development will contain meandering walking paths a community park. This luxurious and neighborhood-centric community will incorporate Spanish-style architecture and an overall design conveying a level of intentionality adding meaningful value to the greater Newhall area as the gateway to Santa Clarita.
Local developers Scott Sheridan and Tom Clark are spearheading the overall community development working closely with the city and local residents alike.
